Throughout my tenure as a superintendent in Minnesota, faculty boards have all the time been nonpartisan. Native folks run for the varsity board and work collectively to enhance the schooling system for the scholars and employees of their faculty district.

We’ve got had nice success in my tenure in Albert Lea due to the standard faculty board members who made up the board. Albert Lea Space Faculties doesn’t have a major, so our submitting interval for the varsity board doesn’t start till Aug. 2 and closes on Aug. 16.

Lastly, I want to shut by thanking our total group for the previous 13 years. I’m honored to have led a faculty system for a technology of scholars. It has been nice to have been a part of so many organizations in Albert Lea. What separates this group from others is the collaboration amongst teams of individuals to get issues completed.
