U.S. Attorney Breon Peace to Lead Attorney General’s Subcommittee on White Collar Crime | USAO-EDNY

Breon Peace, United States Lawyer for the Japanese District of New York, has been chosen because the Chairperson of the White Collar Fraud subcommittee for the Lawyer Normal’s Advisory Committee (AGAC).  Because the chief of the subcommittee, Mr. Peace will play a key position in making suggestions to the AGAC to facilitate the prevention, investigation and prosecution of varied financially motivated, non-violent crimes together with mail and wire fraud, financial institution fraud, well being care fraud, tax fraud, securities and commodities fraud, and identification theft. 

“I’m honored that Lawyer Normal Garland and my colleagues on the Lawyer Normal’s Advisory Committee have chosen me to guide the White Collar Fraud subcommittee,” said United States Lawyer Peace. “The Lawyer Normal has made clear that the vigorous and honest enforcement of company felony insurance policies is a division precedence.  The subcommittee, which incorporates a lot of my excellent U.S. Lawyer colleagues from across the nation, will thoughtfully advise on problems with significance on this space in furtherance of the division’s mission to guard buyers, shoppers, workers, companies and the integrity of economic markets from subtle wrongdoers.  I sit up for serving on this essential position.” 

The AGAC was established practically 50 years in the past to provide United States Attorneys a voice in division insurance policies and to advise the Lawyer Normal of america.
