President Ilham Aliyev has signed the regulation “On approval of the settlement between the federal government of Azerbaijan and the federal government of Serbia on mutual abolition of visa necessities for individuals holding civil passports”.

Below this regulation, the doc on mutual abolition of visa necessities, signed on October 11, 2021, in Belgrade, has been authorized.

To recall, the settlement between Azerbaijan and Serbia on the mutual abolition of visa necessities for holders of basic civil passports was signed throughout a gathering between the 2 international locations’ international ministers, Jeyhun Bayramov and Nikola Selakovic, on the sidelines of the high-level assembly commemorating the Non-Aligned Motion’s sixtieth anniversary in Belgrade on October 11, 2021.

Azerbaijan and Serbia collaborate in a wide range of financial sectors. The Azerbaijan-Serbia Declaration on Strategic Partnership, signed in 2013, and the Joint Motion Plan on Strategic Partnership, signed in 2018, laid the bottom for the event of relations.

The commerce turnover between Azerbaijan and Serbia amounted to $9.2 million in 2021.
